Here are some things to think about when planning your wedding budget
Your wedding budget is going to be a big part of your big day. Your wedding is going to be one of the most expensive occasions of your life, so you want to make sure that you can afford all of it. Wedding planning is a very fun and exciting thing to do, but it can also be stressful at times. You may feel like you’re running around making sure you have enough money for everything, but at the same time you don’t want to stress out about it.

She should choose the colors and flowers, the music and dance choice, and even pick out the engagement ring for the lucky groom-to-be. Even if she doesn’t do these things herself, she should be aware of the ins and outs of everything so that she can make an educated decision when it comes time to choose a caterer, a florist, a photographer and more.
Get the basics down – Once you’ve figured out how much the wedding will cost, you’ll need to get some of the smaller details down pat. The wedding invitations should be sent out long before the wedding, but it might be nice to send them out a bit early. Make sure you get the addresses of all of your guests, and include them on your save-the-date cards or at the back of the invitations. Your guests will thank you for their presence and participation, and they’ll appreciate your efforts to help them plan their own outing to the event. If you want to save some money on transportation, consider renting some of the cars for your guests, or asking the hotel where they stay to recommend a car rental company to them. This can really cut down on the cost of transportation, especially if you take advantage of special discounts available to couples planning to get married on vacation.
Put together a wedding checklist – There are many other things that couples can do to help themselves stay within their budgets. One great way to trim down on expenses is to put together a budget checklist for the major things that have to happen. This can include things like hiring a photographer, videographer, caterer, entertainment, gifts for attendants and even the venue. Many couples choose to stay within a certain limit on most of these items, while others choose to splurge on things that are not necessarily necessities, but that are nice to have around. A checklist can help with this.
